I have such fond memories of the swivel chairs from the seventies. I can't tell you how many hours I spent spinning myself into a dreamy haze. I always have my eye out for one to grace my home. This one is nursery worthy I think it. It's from http://www.babygadget.net/furniture/
I love this Crystal chandelier from Z Gallerie. If only I had a Pirate Captain's quarters in my home.
If I could describe how I feel being an at home mom right now, I suppose I would say it with this picture. Yes, the Wicked Witch of the West, that's me by the way, crushed by the everyday chores, bills, and yard work of the house. I can't keep up! There is completely not enough time in the day. My to do list just keeps getting longer and I swear I am moving at a high metabolic rate all day, every day. Please tell me someone else feels like this too.
Another band I really like. They kind of give me an Echo and the Bunnymen or Joy Division Vibe. Listen to a song here
My kids are starting to go crazy so I found a few crafts to do to try and reign them in. These napkins are cute for a BBQ or Picnic.
I've done this years ago. create your design witha pen, lay your brushed glue down and sprinkle the beans. I might even make some mosaics for my kitchen.
My family used to gather rocks and create creatures just like this for Halloween. THey always turned out really cool. Just do the hot glue-ing for the kids. Besides painting them, you can use googly eyes or or fuzzy material for hair. IT's just fun to see what you see in a simple shaped rock.
I love this video I'm about to have you click on. Enjoy!
I'm celebrating by wishfully thinking about owning some of the vintage red white and blue ensembles. You can find them all at http://www.modcloth.com/store//ModCloth/Womens
