Jump for joy

I can't believe it but I am digg'n the jumpers this year. Especially the strapless jumpers like these. The black one is from Bebe.com and the grey one is from urbanoutfitters.com
I bought a striped terry cloth jumper for my daughter and I can't wait to see her in it.

It's awesome too

Nacho wallet. I know, it would be cool if I was 16. But I am inside! I just liked it.

it's Awesome

It's awesome, I know. this was in MSN's pictures of the week. I just found the chicken wrestler to be really funny. Who is this strange race that choreographs elaborate fake fights for grown men dressed as chickens?

summer colors

I'm not really a summer color person. Give me browns and jewel tones and I am happiest. so every year that summer comes I can't find anything that I like. IT's all so pastel. This year I've decided that I like this Mango color. And this dress is adorable from an Etsy site I like to visit.

I'm also digging blues this year. This is the first time in my entire life that I have liked shades of blue, turqoise, seafoam, navy etc. I'm expanding my horizons this year.

Star-spangled

Red white and blue never looked so good. The curtains are from Ikea I think. I;ve always liked these colors and I'm glad that people are finally pulling them away from the star-spangled theme.
FOr the life of me I cannot find which site I got this from. I think it's genius. No getting up in the middle of the night, no worrying about rolling onto baby. Plus it's super cool looking.

Mothers Day

This is the absolute best book for Mothers Day. It is one of my favorite reads with my son. THe illustrations are fabulous (Bloom County and Opus) and the story, well, it's my favorite Mom story ever. If you see it at a book store, please read it.

Thank you to Maren! Flowers for little girls are so gigantic these days. I looked everywhere for something simple and and not too girly. My niece owns a shop on Etsy and she made this clip for Anna. She sent several other fabulous colors as well. We put them on head bands, on her clothes, in her pig tails......I love love love them.
She makes headbands for adults too. Here's the link if you want to check it out.

Summer is on it's way and Preschool will soon be ending for my little boy. I am so excited to send him to kindergarten next year and watch school programs, enjoy crafts and other fun activities that school children enjoy. A scrapbook to hold all the memories would be just what I need. I found this one at

The stairs

I have such fond memories of sliding down our stairs in a laundry baskett. I bet my Mothers memories are not as fond though. This slide is a great idea. I know I could think of a ton of fun things to do with it.
ha! This is awesome. set it where ever you want to put your child in time out. You can set a timer and it counts down the time with lights to keep your childs attention while waiting. But get this, if your child gets off the pad it sounds an alarm to warn you and it automatcally stops the time. When the time runs out it plays a congratulatory song for the now well controlled child. I could so use this right now . Everyone really wants one of these so, here you go. http://www.keendistribution.com/timeOutPad.php

Eric and I love Pandora radio. type in a band you really like and it will play music that is similar to it. We have found a lot of cool bands with this and I thought we'd share. http://www.pandora.com/

spawn

seriously, who are the aliens? Eric and I have this discussion and I propose that we (humans) are in fact the alien species with our spawn trying to burst out of our bellies. ha, proof. And I thought this picture was kind of cool.
No, we are not this artsy fartsy family, but we did get our family portraits taken. I just wanted to thank Heather for her time and patience with us. I will post the said pictures when they are done receiving some TLC via photoshop.
